“Big Rig Jig” Giant Truck Sculpture

Big Rig Jig, creative sculpture designed by Mike Ross, is built from two repurposed 18-wheeler tanker trucks

The sculpture utilizes two decommissioned trucks, referencing a global oil industry at the nexus of our world’s political, social, and environmental systems. By repurposing these symbolically rich objects, the artist conveys his admiration for and anxiety over humanity’s power.

Old Hard Drives Turned Into Awesome Cars, Bikes, and Robots

This brilliant idea is comes from Miguel Rivera, he turned the old hard drive into awesome Sculpture. His first designed using standard 3.5-inch hard drive to create a cool car design. This designed took 33 hard drives and whole weekend to fabricate.

“The overall concept was to make something out of just hard drive parts and pieces,” says Rivera. “I wanted it to look solid and heavy so I leaned towards just using metal — no plastic or gluing things together.”

The Second Creation is a mini car which took 29 hard drives, the third creation is a fat boy motorcycle and the most difficult of his creation is the robot.

This robot is created with using 14 laptop hard drive with 18 additional discs from gutted hard drives and spare parts. Miguel Rivera said  “This piece allowed me to show off some internal pieces of hard drives I wasn’t able to incorporate with any of the other pieces like using the armatures as weapons.”
