Bmw Vision Vehicle can change his shape (VIDEO)

In honor of its 100th anniversary, BMW presented a stunning concept car called Vision Vehicle, which looks futuristic, as its name suggests. Unlike some concept cars of the past, Vision Vehicle does not seem so unrealistic compared to cars running on the roads today.

Detroit Woman Gives Birth To Her 14th Child From 14 Different Fathers

A 36-year old woman from Michigan has made a crashing entrance into the Guinness Book of World Records yesterday at the Harper University Hospital, by giving birth to her 14th child, all born from different fathers.

Woman gave birth to her 14th child at Harper University Hospital

According to the internationally recognized authority on the cataloguing and verification of world records, Anita Sullivan has just become the first woman in recorded history to conceive children with more than thirteen different men.

“I’m extremely proud to have broken a World Record,” Ms. Sullivan told reporters. “My mother always told me that I was lazy and worthless, and that I would never accomplish anything in my life. Now, I’ve shown everyone that she was wrong, and that I can even be the best in the world when I put my mind to something. In fact, I’ve just accomplished something that no one had done before!”

Anita Sullivan says she’s been unlucky with relationships in the past

But she believes that this time she may have found the man of her life.

“I’m good at having babies, but I’m really awful when it comes to picking the fathers of my children,” says the young woman. “This time, however, I think I’ve learned from my past mistakes. Ramón isn’t like all the jerks I’ve dated before. We’ve been together for almost a year and a half, and I really believe it could work between us.”

Ms Sullivan’s thirteen other children were all present at the hospital to meet their new sibling. They were all extremely proud to hear that their mother had broken a Guinness World Record, and posed happily for the 2017 edition of the book.

Ms Sullivan’s thirteen other children were all present at the hospital to meet their new sibling.

They were all extremely proud to hear that their mother had broken a Guinness World Record, and posed happily for the 2017 edition of the book.

The representatives of Guinness opened a second investigation concerning the record for the number of child support pensions received by one person after they met Ms Sullivan.

The Detroit native is already the beneficiary of pensions paid by 11 different men, and is implicated in two other custody cases, which should proceed before the family court over the next two months.

The investigation should be over by the month of March 2016, and Guinness will then be able to tell if Ms. Sullivan holds a second World Record or not.

Biggest Pets In The World (5 Photos)

#1 HERCULES THE LIGER

While the liger sounds like a made-up animal, it's a real thing. In fact, the largest living cat of any kind in the world is Hercules, an liger. He lives in South Carolina, stands 49 inches tall at the shoulder, measures 131 inches long, and weighs over 900 pounds!

#2 Meet Giant George, the New World’s Tallest Dog

The 4-year-old Great Dane measures 3 ft., 7 in. from paw to shoulder, weighs nearly 250 lbs., and beat the previous record holder Titan’s height by 0.75 inches. Giant George can sit up in a chair like a human, but for his flight from Tucson to Chicago to visit Oprah on her television show, producers bought him tickets for four seats in the plane’s middle section.

#3 Radar (Tallest Horse)

Thumbelina, who weighs 4st 9lb, was born on a farm in St Louis, Missouri. Her owners breed miniature horses but Thumbelina is a further quirk of nature - a miniature of a miniature. She eats two cups of grain and a handful of hay each day.Radar, at 6ft 71/2in from hoof to shoulder, is from Mount Pleasant, Texas. At 2,400lb, he has a giant appetite to match, putting away 20 gallons of water a day and 18lb of grain.

#4 Ulric: A 30-Pound Cat (UK)

Weighing in at a whopping 30 pounds, this fat cat was the heaviest finalist that the PDSA's fitness competition has ever had on their show.Despite his diet, Ulric hit 17 pounds by the time he was 15 months old. The problem is that Ulric loves to eat. If he isn't satisfied with his meal, he'll just amble over to his sister Ulla's bowl. So his owner, Jan Mitchell of Dorchester, UK, enrolled him in the pet fitness competition.Ulric the Norwegian Forest cat is twice as big as he should be.

#5 Goldie (Biggest Fish)

The title of largest pet goldfish goes to Goldie from Folkestone in Kent, England, who was 15 inches long, 5 inches wide, and weighed over 2 lbs in 2008.The fish was only an inch long when Goldie's owner bought it for 99 cents, and 15 years later it had ballooned into a record-breaking size, despite being kept in a small tank. However, Goldie isn't the only supersized goldfish. In July 2010, a goldfish measuring 16 inches and weighing 5 pounds was caught in Poole's Lake by Nick Richards, 16, from Camberley, England. But the world's longest goldfish is owned by Joris Gijsbers and measured 18.7 inches from snout to tail on March 24, 2003 in Hapert, The Netherlands.(Source 1 | Source 2 | Source

Girl Who Had Been Frozen For 500 Years

Juanita La Doncella literally sits frozen in sleep at the High Country Archaeological Museum in Salta Argentina.

Discoverers named her Juanita La Doncella or The Maiden. She was found with two other children on Argentina's Llullaillaco volcano which sits 22,100 feet high.

According to the archaeologists who found the mummified remains in Argentina in 1999, the teen girl and the other children were left on a mountaintop to succumb to the cold as offerings to the gods. She's been called the "best preserved of any mummy", by National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Johan Reinhard.Scientists say that her organs are intact .

This lead to the discovery that the Incas fattened the children . Before the sacrifice these children ate maize and animal proteins often only had by the elite. Also further sample testing of her hair determined not only the type of diet and left in the mountains.

The Incan high priests took their victims to high mountaintops for sacrifice. The children wore slippers and dressed in colorful clothing, elaborately decorated with metal, bone and cords. More than 100 precious ornaments were found with these children at the site.

F1 Batmobile Tumbler Concept: The Joker Won’t Get Away

Over the years, the Batmobile has shown up in all kinds of crazy designs. It’s amazing how geeks change things around and create all kinds of cool versions of the classic Bat car. And now it has been converted into an Formula One race car by Knightvision3D. I can only imagine how awesome the Joker’s car would look if he had an F1 racer too.

It is pretty impressive and was made in 3DS Max 2013. It’s a combination of F1 design, Tumbler technology and powered by jet turbines. They even added hydraulic flaps and allowed the air collected above the cockpit to be funneled around the turbine exhaust and out under the rear diffuser. Who cares that it defies good aerodynamics?

Man, if I had Bruce Wayne’s money I would so build one of these.

Sonic Wind rocket car eyes land speed record at 2000 mph

Here is great news for speed lovers, who crave to move at the speed of a bullet. A Californian man has created a rocket car, which he claims can move at a speed of almost 2000 mph. Yes, you read it right! The land rocket vehicle, christened Sonic Wind, will move at very high speeds and leave everyone wheezing.

British-designed Thrust SSC holds the current land speed record that stands at 763.025 mph or 1227.986 km/h, which was set in the year 1997. The craving to cross the 1000 mph or 1609.344 km/h mark in the coming years has been shown by two teams. One is the successor of thrust named Bloodhound SSC and the other is Aussie Invader 5R. But, for Waldo Stakes, 1000 mph was not enough and he created a land rocket that can touch a whooping speed of 2000 mph or 3218.688 km/h.

But, there is no stopping for Waldo. He is aiming to come up with something that will touch a top speed of more than 2000 km/h faster than the present record. This means the car will roll at a speed of approximately 900 meters per second. The creator has been working on the Sonic Wind Land Speed Research Vehicle project from the past nine years. The car will be very stable and the most powerful creation to rule the planet in coming times. All the acting forces will be used ingeniously to make sure the car is stable when it moves at an unbelievable speed.

Sonic Wind will fetch all the power to move at a monstrous speed from a recycled XLR99 rocket engine. The XLR99 rocket engine was crafted to propel an experimental X-15 plane by NASA in the 1950s. In the year 1976, the X-15 plane made a flight speed record of 4520 mph or 7274 km/h, which stands unbeaten till date. The rocket engine used in the Sonic Wind will be able to produce a thrust measuring 61,000 pounds, which will be possible because of the combination of methanol fuel and liquid oxygen.

Negative lift will be increased as the body of the rocket car alters its plane a bit in the nose area, creating shock waves on the front wheels. These shocks along with the ones radiated downward from the rear bi-wedge tail fins will be exploited in a great way during roll control. The rocket car will move ahead at a supersonic speed, which will be an experience in itself. Sonic Wind has a sleek and curvy silhouette, which adds to its overall sumptuousness. Now, all we have to see is who gets to savor the experience of moving ahead at a speed of 2000 mph, which will definitely manage to send in a lot of chill thrills.

Here comes the big daddy of all the shopping carts on wheels!

Going grocery shopping with the entire family is a lot of fun.
However, getting everyone’s purchases from the store to the car and fitting all the shopping bags inside a single car with someone or the other disagreeing on a particular purchase is as hellish an experience as it can get. Luckily, Texas-based H-E-B AKA H-E-B Grocery Stores AKA HEB Grocery Company came up with an ingenious idea that can help larger families go shopping in well-stocked H-E-B stores together and come back with as much stuff as they could possibly fit in their home without worrying about breaking the eggs stored in the boot or leg space for passengers in the vehicle on the ride back.
Of course this Texas-sized hot rod shopping cart that H-E-B had custom made for promoting their 315-store strong brand at local events and parades may not be an ideal vehicle when you’re heading out to work or picking up the kids from school, but it definitely beats the heck out of trying to cramp in a few weeks’ worth of groceries in a single family car.The gas-driven giant cart is almost as tall as an average home and can comfortably seat a couple, their kids, grandparents, family pets and even a few neighbors that need a lift.

For USA: BMW Two-Man Bobsled

You may remember last year BMW announced they are designing a new high-tech bobsled for USA Bobsled & Skeleton Federation (USBSF). Now the first prototype is ready, and it’s looking quite fancy. Well, fancy as far as bobsleds go.

Featuring a unique carbon fiber construction from the firm’s ‘i’ division, BMW bobsled is designed, like their cars, for optimum handling. Compared to the bobsleds, the BMW model is lighter, it has a lower center of gravity, and better aerodynamic characteristics. So it should be faster and handle the track better.

They are still testing and developing the prototype, but it’ll be ready in time for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

“After more than a year-long development process, we’re thrilled for the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Federation to finally race this bobsled,” said Michael Scully, Creative Director, BMW Group DesignworksUSA, BMW Group’s international design and creative consultancy. “BMW EfficientDynamics techniques are at the heart of the sled’s design, making it sleeker, lighter and we hope faster: essentially a BMW on ice. We’re anxious to see how it performs against Team USA’s competitors.”

Golden Batmobile will help Bruce Wayne blend in with his homies from the hood

Bruce Wayne AKA Batman may be worth $6.9 billion according to the 2012 Forbes Fictional 15 (which ranks fictional characters according to their net worth) but were sure that the billionaire playboy/nerd in disguise/vigilante would never go around flashing his moolah in this rather tacky looking gold-finished Batmobile.

An insult to the classic vehicle that has garnered cult status over the years for being classy, sophisticated and just oh-so-masculine, this golden Batmobile doppelganger created by the good folks over at Gotham Garage is one of the finest examples of why covering vehicles in gold is one of the more worthless things you can do as a custom automaker/tuner.In the fictional universe of DC comics,

Batman is one of the less bizarre superheroes even though he too insists on wearing his underwear on top of his pants, has a penchant for capes, boots and weird headgear and his daily commuter of choice, the iconic Batmobile, has been hailed as one the of most realistic bits of technology popularized by the genre.

However, covering it in gold might make it more suited to a Batman who prefers to wear oversized sports jerseys and massive gold chains and crawls through streets blasting gangsta rap on his expensive Bose sound system as he enjoys a joint or two with his homie Robin rather than the somber and sophisticated superhero that we all love and adore.

Since the deep black paint finish of the Batmobile allows it to move stealthily through the night and creep up on bad guys, covering the vehicle in gold would actually have the exact opposite effect. The golden monstrosity might as well have a big flashing neon sign installed on top saying “Batman inside: target missiles here”.

Amphibious Scamander redefines RVs with amazing off-roading capabilities

What comes to mind when you hear the term ‘RV’? A vehicle that houses basic amenities you would need in order to survive as well as living quarters. Coming a long way from the Gypsy homes of the 19th century, recreational vehicles like the Volkswagen Camper and the Dodge motorhome offered users a home away from home and were perfect for long distance trips as they didn’t require you to spend the night in a hotel. But a new RV looks set to change that idea with basic amenities and living quarters taking a backseat in lieu of amazing off-roading and water-conquering abilities.

Meet the Scamander, an all-terrain RV that’s got everyone talking with its aggressive and muscular appearance and dynamic capabilities. The Scamander is the design of Peter Wheeler, the former owner of British boutique automaker TVR who passed away before seeing his creation come to life. Based on the comments posted on numerous blogs extolling the creation, Wheeler would be pleased to know that he might just have reinvented the term ‘RV’.what exactly is the Scamander capable of? For starters, it’s powerful owing to the V6 engine it’s been fitted with that outputs about 300 horses.

This takes it to top speeds of 120 mph and a 0 to 60 mph sprint time of 8 seconds. And that’s not all, the RV can even tackle waters so if you ever wanted to cross that river to get to the other side, you can plough through with relative ease. The Scamander resembles a vehicle you’d see in a Hollywood flick: big, powerful and just plain robust. It was brought to life thanks to Wheeler’s wife and a bevy of engineers who decided that the vehicle was just too awesome to ignore. We agree and were it not for them, the Scamander would probably have been relegated to a corner and we wouldn’t have been honored to witness a revolutionary new machine.

Innotruck incorporates emerging technologies in transportation

A lot of time is spent in research and development in an effort to develop near-perfect transportation systems that can get us to destinations fast and without high energy usage. A few months back at a transport show held in Belgium, Mercedes-Benz flaunted its Aero Trailer concept. And, though it looked efficient and sleek, it will be no match for the eye-popping full trailer/tractor combination which will be displayed this month in Germany at the international trade fair, MobiliTec.

Introducing the Innotruck, a bizarre truck from the future which is a result of the project Diesel Reloaded. The project displays how drastic shifts in IT, energy and automotive related technologies can be utilized to answer common trends and needs.

The team working on the ground breaking project is led by Prof. Gernot Spiegelberg of the Technische Universität München, Germany. The Innotruck was projected to serve as a demonstration vehicle and a test-bed for emerging technologies such as car-to-car, car-to-infrastructure communications, plug-and-play applications and drive-by wire operations.

The truck is an electric vehicle with installed components such as display and controls which were developed with the intention to adapt to the driver’s capabilities, frequently changing conditions like the driver’s alertness and traffic flow. With such features, the Innotruck guarantees that drivers will never be flooded with unnecessary information that they don’t need to finish the task at hand. However, they will automatically receive information as and when it is needed.

Another major development made on the Innotruck is energy management, portrayed as a ‘micro smart grid’ where the vehicle will be able to manage energy flow not just from the installed battery pack but from onboard wind turbines, regenerative brakes and solar cells as well. An interesting feature is the electrical outlets along the sides of the vehicle that can benefit other EVs, allowing them to recharge from it when it makes a stop.

World's Longest Car: The Limousine

The Limousine has 26 wheels and can be driven rigidly or adjusted to bend in the middle around corners. This incredible car is currently in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest car.

Dark Knight Rises Batpod motorcycle

The latest Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises" is currently in production and a series of spy photos of Anne Hathaway who is playing Cat Woman in the movie have emerged with her atop her own silver version of Batman's motorcycle, the Batpod. The Batpod first appeared in Batman "The Dark Knight" and was the creation of director Christopher Nolan and production designer Nathan Crowley.

The Batpod uses 20 inch wheels from the Tumbler (Batmans avant-garde cubism car) and is powered by the water-cooled single from a Honda CRF450R trail bike. Aside from it's crazy appearance and strange riding position (I think Catwoman would find the ride much more comfortable than Batman!) the Batpod has some very interesting design features.

Firstly you may notice the bike doesn't have any exhausts, this is due to the fact that exhaust gases have been routed through the aluminium and magnesium tubular frame. Steering the Batpod is done using shoulder movement rather than with the hands which for any rider seasoned or not would take some getting used to. The suspension is all in the front of the bike (it's a hardtail!) and the riders feet sit 3 1/2 feet apart in what can only be described as stirrups...interesting view for motorists travelling behind Cat woman!

Vittoria Concept Supercar

With a hybrid drivetrain, Vittoria concept supercar has three different power modes: 100 percent electric which uses the rear mounted electric motor to power the rear wheels, 100 percent internal combustion engine where the rear wheels is powered with supercharged V8 engine, or a hybrid configuration which using the combination of both modes to provides maximum power output.

Subsea limousine: C-Explorer 5 submarine by U-Boat Worx

U-Boat Worx, submarine manufacturers from the Netherlands, have come up with a staggering submarine which they’ve unveiled on the occasion of the 22nd Monaco Yacht Show, during this September. Dubbed the C-Explorer 5 – CE5 -, the people behind it call the device “the world’s first subsea limousine”.

The process of manufacturing has taken roughly two years, the works at the vessel having been started in 2010. Boasting with the ability to cozily accommodate four people plus the pilot and featuring a state of the art air conditioning system, the CE5 comes with a pressurized hull which enables it dive at as much as 300 meters deep with a top speed of 3 knots.

The CE5 is powered by a cluster of high capacity lithium-ion batteries which ensure it with 8 hours of operational autonomy. There is also an optional upgrade to 16 hours of autonomy. In addition, in case of emergency, the submarine can provide an additional 96 hours of emergency life support. In terms of propulsion, the horizontal and vertical movements are being handled by two pairs of 2 kW thrusters. There’s an available upgrade for these as well, buyers being able to choose two supplementary 1.2 kW thrusters.

One of the most beautiful places in the world: DUBAI

A sparkling gem in the desert, the city of Dubai is host to more than 10 million visitors a year, and has quickly become known for its world-class dining, unparalleled shopping, prestigious sporting events and year-round recreational activities.

Dubai boasts of magnificent resorts like the Burj Al Arab, seven-star hotels, world-renowned golf courses, desert safaris, snowboarding on sand dunes and indoor skiing and of course, some of the best shopping in the world. Dubai also offers much for the family: water parks, museums, historical sites, beaches and the zoo. With the cooler weather months from October to April, Dubai makes for a leisurely, enjoyable holiday stay. Cricket matches, camel racing, major sporting events and the Dubai Summer Surprises are just a sampling of what this exciting city has to offer. The combination of all these amenities in a sheltered and luxurious setting, have made Dubai one of the top vacation destinations in the world.

Yes, it is a miracle because the Dubai Palm Islands are a set of man-made islands that are in themselves comprised of many little islands that “branch out from the stem” to form stable (so far) living areas.

As Dubai continues to set new standards for modern day development, its man-made islands are some of the more exceptional projects accomplished around the world. The Palm Islands are three sets of man-made islands, each shaped in a variation of a palm tree. The Palm project is unique from anything else Dubai had done prior to it. The Palm Jumeirah, which was the first of the three islands undertaken is the world’s largest man-made island (as of 2008). They are still patching this up but access is open to the public. Villas are up and many are already living there.

Planetsolar is the first solar-powered boat around the world

The first ever entirely solar-powered ship to circle the globe embarked on this tremendous journey that has taken it through 28 countries, 11 seas and 3 oceans two years ago and lasted a whopping 585 days. Reportedly named the MS Tûranor Planetsolar, its journey started on the 27th of September 2010, at 2:00 p.m. and ended at 2:21 p.m., in Monaco.

The ship has started a new journey during this month, touching at famous ports of the Mediterranean Sea, like Spain’s Barcelona and Mallorca, as well as Cagliari, on the island of Sardinia. The crew of this massive sailing wonder says that it’s actually “more than a ship”, now being a “mobile battery”. It can power up concerts and lightshows, can hold exhibitions and do all sorts of activities that other ships cannot, in every port it docks in.

The name Tûranor was picked from the fabled Lord of the Rings book, by J. R. R. Tolkien, where it stands for “the power of the sun”. Built as a catamaran, it measures 115 feet in length (35 meters) and presents itself covered in 537 square meters (5,780 square feet) of photovoltaic panels (a total of 38,000 individual solar cells feed 6 huge blocks of Li-Ion batteries) with 18.8% yield, all the ensemble generating around 260,000 kWh of electricity over the so-planned 60,006 kilometer voyage (37,000 nautical miles).
