Camaro SS 751 HP (VIDEO)

Professional driver, Brian Smith, drove the 751 horsepower Hennessey Camaro SS to a top speed of 202.1 mph. In the process, Hennessey’s Chevy became the first 2016 Camaro SS to break the 200 mph mark.

The run was made on the 8.5-mile high-speed oval at the Continental Tire Proving Grounds located in Uvalde, Texas. This is the same test track where the Hennessey team ran their HPE750 Supercharged Mustang to over 200 mph with Jay Leno’s Garage in 2015. During both tests, speeds were validated with Racelogic’s VBox 3i GPS data logging system.

“We are so excited about the incredible performance vehicles that are being built in America today”, said Hennessey. “Take your choice of 2016 Camaro SS, Mustang GT and Hellcat Challenger, and we can upgrade all of them to performance levels that meet or exceed some of the fastest exotics from Europe.”

I thought the car was going to turn into a robot from "Transformers."

The Mustang sold over one million units in its first 18 months on the market. The Mustang remains in production today after many decades and numerous revisions.

How to Entertain Kids in the Car (Advices)

Dreading that long, family car ride? Boredom isn't inevitable; in fact, a long car ride is an opportunity to do lots of fun things.

1.Talk to your family. Share stories, remember funny events or memories, or discuss what you're going to do when you arrive at your destination. It will be nice to chat to family on phone so you can catch up what you missed.

2.Play some car games. Some great ones are I Spy, naming things you see that starts with each letter of the alphabet, making acronyms for license plates, or anything else you can think of!

3.Listen to some music. Calming Music will help you be Calm in the car rather than listening to rock music etc.

4.Take photos of the view out the window.

5.Take advantage of your technology. If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod, play games that don't require the Internet! Some good ones are Paintsparkle, talking friends apps.

6.Watch a movie or two on your digital tablet or portable DVD player.

7. Play with some toys. If you brought along some stuffed animals, play a game of show them around the outside of the car. You can also play with anything else you may have brought from home

Lamborghini Centenario 6.5-liter V12 (770PS)

As the name suggests, the Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4 will be powered by a 770PS (759hp) version of the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine also found in the Aventador SV and regular Aventador models. Thanks to the uprated engine and the four-wheel drive system, the anniversary model is said to cover the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 2.7 seconds, with a top speed of more than 350 km/h (217 mph).

The Centenario LP 770-4 will be built in a very limited run of 20 units, which will make the Aventador SV (600 units) and Aventador SV Roadster (500 units) look like mass-produced models.

Lamborghini’s hypercar will not only be rare, but expensive as well, with a rumored price of more than €1 million ($1.12 million). The Centenario LP 770-4 is expected to launch in April 2016, just in time to celebrate Ferruccio Lamborghini’s centenary.

5000HP Hypercar Devel Sixteen SPOTTED In Dubai Beach! (VIDEO)

Its mid-mounted V16 engine produces a claimed 5000hp (yes, five thousand), which will catapult the the Devel from 0-60mph in 1.8 seconds. In the words of Jeremy Clarkson, 1.8 seconds is now...until now. As for the hypercar's top speed, you'll see 560kph, apparently. That's 348mph in real money.

Ferrari 458 Italia Transformation(PHOTOS)

First and foremost, the main change is the addition of the famous PD458 aerodynamic-kit. The pack itself is unique and lends the sports car even purposeful appearance. At the front the experts added wide body bumper and add-on lip spoiler, which substantially widens car's front, hence – stance. There is also unique PD458 bonnet.

The last change includes suspension and alloy wheels. This Rosso red Ferrari 458 Italia has been updated with H&R Suspension system and it rides on huge 21-inch VOSSEN VPS-306 forged wheels. The alloys have been matched with CONTINENTAL tires of the appropriate dimensions.

Although the power output hasn't been changed, the 458 Italia can proudly show-off with a mid-mounted 4.5 litre flat-plane crank V8 engine, which produces 570 hp (420 kW).

2017 Bugatti Chiron: The $2.6-Million, 1500-hp, 261-mph(PHOTOS)

With the Bugatti Veyron’s top-speed records, a price tag over $1 million, and distinctive melted-scoop-of-ice-cream styling, it was an instant rolling superlative when it debuted in 2005. Its successor, the new Chiron, is even more of a record- and headline-grabbing show pony. Is it faster? A 310-mph (500 km/h) speedometer and Bugatti’s claim that it’ll do 261 mph say it is.

New Bugatti Chiron: the numbers
They’re big. The Chiron is shaping up to be the most unbeatable Top Trumps card ever.

It’s powered by an extensively redeveloped version of the Veyron’s 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16, which produces what is claimed to be the highest figure yet extracted from a production car: 1500 metric horsepower (or 1480bhp). Maximum torque is an equally enormous 1180lb ft, spread between 2000 and 6000rpm.

Top speed is electronically limited for road use(!), to 420km/h (261mph). The limiter’s there primarily for reasons of tyre durability. That actually makes it a touch slower than the Veyron Super Sport’s record V-max of 267mph, but the maths say the Chiron could top 285-287mph or so with the limiter removed.  Bugatti isn’t quoting an official unrestricted top speed for the time being.

Nor is there an official 0-62mph just yet, but Bugatti reckons it’ll be ‘less than’ 2.5 seconds.

How much does the Bugatti Chiron cost?

Another big number: the basic price is €2.4 million.

Bugatti says production will be limited to 500 cars (although there’s surely a little wriggle room on that figure for the odd special edition) and claims to already have advance orders for a third of the production run. No doubt there might be a few more signatures in the order book following the Geneva show.

Don’t be surprised to see an even faster variant along the same lines as the Veyron Super Sport arrive later in the Chiron’s life cycle, although plans for a higher-performance version are yet to be confirmed by Bugatti.

Bugatti Chiron: design

That striking bodywork is said to be partly inspired by elements of the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, in particular the C-shaped curve that loops from the A-pillar all the way around the rear haunches and back through the front wheel arch – and the central fin from stem to stern, which is intended to be a more subtle version of the prominent similar central seam on the Atlantic.

The Chiron’s been designed with a two-tone colour scheme in mind like the Veyron, but single-colour options will also be available.

Engine

The Veyron’s 8.0-litre W16 returns, but not as we know it. It’s undergone some serious development to generate 25% more power than before – no mean feat.

Its pistons, con-rods and crank are all new, as is the titanium exhaust system. Much of the power gains come from the redesigned two-stage turbo system, employing four separate turbochargers that are 30% bigger than those of the Veyron Super Sport. The Chiron gets off the line with two turbos in action, with the other two chiming in above 3800rpm, creating the most linear power curve possible. Working out how to deliver 1480bhp in a controlled, manageable way can’t be easy.

Stronger components for higher output generally mean more weight, so lightweight materials are used where possible in the Chiron. The intake tube and timing chain housing are made from carbonfibre, for example, and the new crankshaft is lighter than the Veyron’s.

Some of the numbers associated with the Veyron’s powerplant are startling; the charge air cooling system swallows 60,000 litres of air per minute and in the same amount of time the coolant pump needs to circulate 800 litres of water through the engine.

As with the Veyron, the W16 is hooked up to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and permanent four-wheel drive.

2017 Ford GT

You can’t buy a Ford GT yet, but if you want one, start saving now—prices are expected to begin at as much as $400,000. One look at its stats tells you all you need to know: a mid-engine twin-turbo V-6 good for more than 600 hp, full carbon-fiber construction and body panels, and active aerodynamics. Power will be sent to the rear wheels courtesy of a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic; sadly, a manual will not be available. Production starts in 2016; expect the total to be less than 1000 cars.

“Engineered to keep company with exotics” is how Ford modestly refers to its bombshell  2015 Detroit auto show debut, the GT hypercar. The concept’s appearance wasn’t a huge surprise, as  we learned months ago that Ford was taking a new GT to Le Mans in 2016, and such a car must be homologated. But as it slinked onto a stage at Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena, Ford kept feeding us a host of stats that had our jaws opening wider by the second. It packs more than 600 horsepower. It utilizes full carbon-fiber construction and body panels. It has active aerodynamics. The new GT is poised to not only keep company with other exotics, but perhaps also force them to up their game.

Grand Theft Auto Show
It bears repeating: After a year full of astonishing high-performance and supercar launches that included the  Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Chevy Camaro Z/28, Porsche 918 Spyder, Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1, and Ford’s own  Shelby Mustang GT350, we were floored. It’s not just the Ford’s sultry styling—we’ll get to that shortly—it’s the sheer brassiness of the thing. To the carbon-fiber monocoque Ford’s engineers bolted front and rear subframes made from aluminum. The active aerodynamic elements include a multiposition rear wing that mimics the caboose-tamers of the P1 and LaFerrari to help keep Ford’s mid-engine supercar planted at speed. The suspension is active and uses inboard, pushrod-actuated damping, and ride height is adjustable.

Power comes not from a supercharged V-8 as in  the previous GT, but rather Ford’s next-generation twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine. We’re promised it will produce “more than 600 horsepower.” We have to imagine that the GT’s EcoBoost six likely shares at least some componentry with the new 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 in the  2017 F-150 Raptor, meaning it should have plenty of torque; we’d wager at least 500 lb-ft. So far as we can tell at this point, there is no hybrid componentry, no complicated electric-boost function, and no kinetic-energy recovery system, just pure, unadulterated horsepower from a beastly gas engine feeding the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Carbon-ceramic brakes haul the prototype down from speed, and 20-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 tires are tasked with keeping the car stuck to the pavement.

Stunning, Future-Think Design
All of the chassis porn is matched by the visual titillation of the GT’s body, the flying buttresses of which manage to disguise what is essentially the shape of a Le Mans prototype racer. The wide front end is reminiscent of the classic Ford GT40, but the rest of the design is fully supercar-modern. The tight, two-seat passenger cell tapers to a point above the two cannon-sized central exhaust outlets, and the rear fenders sit entirely apart from the main fuselage. (Credit the laydown, pushrod suspension for making the channels between the wheels and body possible.) Unlike last decade’s GT, the doors hinge up and forward and don’t incorporate portions of the roof; they still, however, grant access to a simple, businesslike cabin. A digital gauge cluster is augmented by a central color touch-screen display with Ford’s just-introduced Sync 3 infotainment setup, while the slim center tunnel houses the starter button and transmission selector buttons. A pair of paddle shifters sprouts from behind a squircle-shaped steering wheel, and we can’t get over the awesome door-mounted HVAC vents.

While the Detroit car is technically a concept, as we said up top, the GT will be produced starting next year. The 2017 Ford GT’s natural nemesis will be  Chevrolet’s mid-engine Corvette that’s due roughly two years from now, although Ferrari’s newly twin-turbocharged 458, the second-generation Audi R8, and possible even loftier supercars will be in play, too. Keeping company with exotics, indeed.

Two Boys Were Digging In The Yard When They Uncovered THIS. But That’s Only Half The Story

What’s the most incredible or unusual thing you might find in your backyard? Say you pick up a metal detector and find an old coin, or perhaps comes across an arrowhead. That’s all well and good, but nothing even comes close to what two California boys found in 1978.

Because these kids found a Ferrari !

This is the front yard in a Los Angeles neighborhood where the vehicular treasure was discovered in early February of 1978.

A new family had just moved into the house when their two boys struck gold. The family called the authorities, and an excavation began. It turned out that the car was actually an insanely valuable 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS.

The car had been poorly mummified with towels and cloths. It was obvious that someone wanted to come back for it. But who? And why did they bury it?

After an investigation by the police, the nefarious reason as to why it was down there was discovered.

The previous owners hired criminals to drive the car into the ocean so they could claim the insurance money. But those thieves hid the car in the ground in hopes of coming back for it.

With the mystery solved and the car making headlines all over the nation, it was auctioned off to the highest bidder. A mechanic with his own shop bought it and restored it.

The gorgeous car was like new again, except this Ferrari had a story unlike any other.

In addition to entering the buried Ferrari in car shows, the new owner put a vanity plate on it that read “Dug Up.”

Not a bad thing to find just lying right under your front yard.

Well, that doesn’t happen everyday. What a story.

TERRIFYING World's Most Dangerous Roads (Photo Gallery)

#1 Karakoram Highway

This highway linking Pakistan and China reaches altitues of 16,000 feet and is no laughing matter. You wouldn't want to fall off this one.
#2 Guoliang Tunnel Road (China)

This tunnel/road is 1,200 meters long and was built by locals in the 70's. It took 5 years to construct this road that tunnels in and out of some of the steepest peaks in China.

#3 The Road Through The Himalayas

This road through India has more curves than any road should. Trucks commonly fall down the steep grades of this road.

#4 Road Of Death

This Bolivian road is not only long, but it is called the road of death for a reason. It is responsible for 100-200 fatalities a year.

5 Of The Dumbest Things People Brought To The Auto Shop

It's common to hear horror stories about people who have had terrible experiences with mechanics. Complaints about being swindled, cheated, over overcharged are common, but what about mechanics who have had to deal with dumb customers? Some people deal with car troubles their own way, ignoring warnings from their vehicle or using duct tape to fix the problem, leaving mechanics scratching their heads.

There's the Problem
The owner of this Volkswagen Jetta came to the conclusion that they were dealing with an air leak, so they wrapped their airflow meter and intake hose with tape. It wasn't duct tape and easily removed, but the mechanic wasn't happy about having to fiddle with this.

#1 Gliding on the Highway
Turning on this tire must have been like riding a slip and slide. Driving on a completely worn tire is more than dangerous, as they are easily punctured or can cause a loss of of vehicle control (braking, spin outs, etc.).

#2 More Cowbell
If this was a prank: genius. In this instance, the customer complained to the mechanic that they kept hearing a bell sound coming from under their car. There's no word on why they didn't just take a peek under the vehicle, but the auto shop took care of the concern by detaching the belt that connected the bell to the vehicle.

#3 Strap Up
People will do anything to keep from having to buy new tires. Maybe it's because it's recommended that tires must be purchased two or four at a time, increasing your bill if you only need one. However, there are moments when it's just time to say R.I.P. to your worn tires and splurge (or catch a sale!) for new ones.

#4 Warning Signs
Your check engine light is your friend. When it pops on, it's safe to say that most of the time it's your car's way of getting your attention. For this car owner, however, they decided that it was more of a suggestion than anything, and rode 84,000 before having their first oil change.

#5 A Different Kind of Herb
Not completely positive, but that doesn't look like basil. Marijuana smokers may have secret stashes in their cars, so it isn't uncommon for mechanics to come across the random ways people try to conceal their weed.

And safety is important, but if something requires a lock that big maybe it shouldn't be stored in your car. Also, how does one's tire bubble in ten different places?

Morgan Create Their Most Stunning Luxury Sports Car

Morgan have revealed a one off sports car which is their most stunning luxury sports car to date. Called the SP1 this awesome machine was created to show off the British car makers craftsmanship.
The SP1, which stands for Special project 1, shares a few design elements from the 2009 LifeCar Concept and is powered by the same 3.7 liter V6 Ford engine that is used in the Morgan V6 Roadster. It produces 280bhp and can accelerate from 0 – 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds. Despite being quick off the mark it’s too speed is only around 140 mph.

The Morgan SP1 features a wooden frame body constructed from Ash Wood and African Bubinga Red Hardwood. The interior features natural aniline leather and wooden seats. It also has an infotainment system that is controlled via an iPad.

One cool feature about this luxury sports car is the starting sequence, it is like starting a plane. Once the car has been electronically armed, a sequence of roof mounted toggle switches are flicked to ‘prepare for flight’ before a final toggle switch starts the engine. A few other car manufacturers should take some hints from this!!

So who wants one?

When business plans between Ford and Ferrari went sour ford decided to make a sports car that would break the long running success of Ferrari in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. They accomplished the task easily and went on to win 4 consecutive years. In later years moor modern versions of this beautiful car were reintroduced due to cars popularity.

#4 Classic Sports Car Stock Photos Aston Martin DBR2
Made as a small family car the Escort was produced from 1968 until 2002 in many variants. It was when Lotus come on board and fitted the car with a 4 cylinder 1557 cc twin cam engine that the Escort took off with many years of success in rallying and specialized hill climbing events.

#5 Classic Sports Car Stock Photos AC Cobra
Aston Martin released the DBR2 with a 4.2 liter engine in 1957 to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, unfortunately it only raced for 1 year due to the change in rules but went on to be sold in the USA to racing enthusiasts.

This was the first convertible touring car ever made by Mercedes released in 1954, the hardtop came with very distinctive gull wing doors. Powered by a straight 6 cylinder 3.0 liter engine which featured the first direct fuel injection system. Although extremely good looking the car suffered major mechanicals problems due to fuel mixing with and diluting the engine oil, this lead to the car needing a 10 liter oil reserve which needed to be changed every 1000 miles.

The original AC Cobra was a British sports car matched with an engine from the USA. The first models features a Bristol straight six engine which was changed to the Chrysler 331 cu in (5.4 L) V8 in 1961 later this was increased to a 390 cubic inches (6.4 L) engine. Considering this car is from the 60’s it’s performance can only be classed as staggering with a 0-60 time in around 3 seconds and a top speed of 185 mph.
