Mercedes-Benz CLS
Mercedes-Benz CLS Tuned by Vitt Performance
We have to tell you from the beginning that we are going to talk about a piece of exterior tuning coming from Japan, so expect to see bits and pieces that might not suit everybody’s taste. Getting to the point, we’ll show you what Japanese aftermarket developer Vitt Performance can do for the second-generation Mercedes CLS.
The four-door coupe was gifted with a wide body kit, which includes a front bumper with generously-sized air intakes and LED daytime running lights, beefy side skirts and door panels, as well as a rear bumper that includes a diffuser and a quadruple exhaust with oval tips that overlap.
Of course, these are all topped by the beefier wheel arches and a boot lid spoiler. The Vitt Performance Mercedes CLS rides on a set of rims that use a five-double spoke design with an extra-wide lip.
Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG by Ultimate Auto
The stock wheels were replaced with 20 inch ADV.1 wheels stuffed in the fender wells then wrapped in Michelin tires. They feature a two tone black finish to complement the entire look of the car. The CLS 63 AMG features a 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine rated 518hp at 5250rpm and 700 Nm of torque at 1750-5250rpm and mated to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission. Also worth reading about is the new developments for the upcoming CLS 63 AMG
Mercedes-Benz SL Squalo by Vitt Performance
Vitt Performance recently released their updated bodykit for the R231 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class. The latest Mercedes-Benz SL Squalo by Vitt Performance gets a completely new bodykit that builds upon the existing kit, previously offered for the R230 SL-Class.
The bodykit includes a wide front bumper set, a wide front fender set, a wide side skirt set, a wide rear fender set, a wide rear bumper and a styled rear wing. All parts are constructed from fibre-reinforced plastic.
The Mercedes-Benz SL Squalo by Vitt Performance also features a set of vertical daytime running lights fitted to the front bumper air intakes and a new sports exhaust system. The kit is available from various tuning shops in Japan or from Jonari based in California.
Audi S5 Tuning Sportbek by Sener
The power of three-liter V6 with a mechanical compressor model is increased by 43 hp and 55 nm, which means that its performance has respectively 380 hp and 495 Nm. This is achieved through a revision of the ECU-it and replacing the air filter and exhaust system with sport. Removed also the electronic speed limiter, but Sener Tuning is not currently disclose exactly what performance is capable of the revised model.
Fast and Furious 6 Nissan GT-R Revealed
Check out this cool blue Nissan GT-R that will be seen in the upcoming Fast and Furious 6 set to hit theaters May 24. We’re surprised that they are even making a sixth installment of the Fast and Furious series as it seems each sequel doesn’t live up to hype. The original should go down in history as the movie that changed the car tuning industry for the better or worse as some may say. Anyways, this GT-R received a ton of modifications from the new aerodynamic kit to the performance upgrades under the hood.
Starting off with the aero kit developed by BenSopra, the car received new front and rear bumpers with large inlets and strange side sills behind the fenders. A massive rear wing that scream overkill rounds out the rear, while the new hood has too many vents to even count.
Performance is what really matters, however Fast and Furious is notorious to only showcase styling modifications. Yet, this Nissan GTR has received tuning from SP Engineering for the ECM calibration and the use of 100 octane fuel for more power. A Switzer P800 turbocharger kit was installed along with a HKS downpipe and Y-pipe.
You know the interior will be tricked out with a new steering wheel, seats, upholstery and trim throughout. Just to name drop a few more goodies, the Nissan GT-R features cooling panels from Seibon, an AMS carbon fiber roof, AeroCatch flush mount hood pins and Sparco trunk latches. Now you know it’s an official Fast and Furious 6 Nissan GT-R with all those name brands!

CORVETTE Z06 BY ROMEO FERRARIS
The Italian tuner Romeo Ferraris released a mod pack for Chevrolet Corvette Z06 which aims to place it above the ZR1 model.
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 received by Romeo Ferrari’s compressor and the power of the powerful 677PS and 823Nm LS7 jumped 7.0 torque. The Vortech kit features – a centrifugal compressor, an air-to-air intercooler and aluminum high-flow injectors. In addition, the car got a new sports exhaust system.
The Romeo Ferraris Z06 needs 3.3 seconds to cover the 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) sprint and hits 124 mph (200 km/h) in under 10 seconds. If the driver keeps on playing, the game reaches 211 mph (340 km/h).
They’ve also fitted the car with 19-inch wheels at front and 20-inch at the back, with bigger brakes inside them, 6-piston caliper and 380mm discs at front – 4-piston and 340mm discs a the back.
Romeo Ferraris also provides a new interior finish to add a European touch to this American muscle car. That includes an in-house "Commando" sport steering wheel by Romeo Ferraris, Recaro Sportster seats and leather touches to replace outgoing plastic moldings.
Chevy Silverado on 32-Inch Forgiato Wheels (VIDEO)
Custom cars in Florida are in a league of their own. They guys will take any old sedan out there and put on the largest wheels you’d never think would fit. And in fact they don’t fit, because parts of the fenders and bumpers have to be shaved off to maker room.
This odd looking Fred Flintstone used to be a regular old Chevy Silverado pickup, an American legend in the making. The guys at Dynasty Customs in Tampa Bay fitted it with new 32-inch ENZO wheels from Forgiato. These have huge chrome rims and massive lips.
The custom truck also has tinted lights, chrome mirrors and a brand new grille, not to mention a banging sound system. All these mods have the potential of adding at least $10,000 to the price tag, so it’s quite serious business, even though it looks like a clown car.

Wheelsandmore Tweaks Aston Martin DBS Carbon
Wheelsandmore, a German tuner of high-end sports cars, set about tuning the Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition, but they quickly realized the car is pretty much perfect and there is not much they can do to improve it. Still, they tweaked a few things here and there to make the car even more desirable.
First off, they fitted the DBS Carbon with a set of new wheels. It is, after all, what Wheelsandmore does best. The DBS gets a set of 21-inch wheels finished in black to match the exterior color of this limited edition Aston. You can also opt for a version of these wheels with red outer lip and red brake calipers. The wheels are wrapped in Continental Sport Contact 5P, 265/30 front, 325/25 rear.
Other changes made to the Aston include fitment of a F1-sport air filter and a new sport exhaust system with high performance catalysts and valve system. Together they give the DBS a total output of 557 horsepower and 660 Nm of torque. The standrd car has about 520 hp and 570 Nm.

1074 hp Audi S3 by TS Racing
We knew that Audi’s, or rather Volkswagen’s, 2.5 liter five-cylinder engine has a great potential for tuning, but we didn’t know how big that potential was until we came across this. What we have here is an innocuous looking Audi S3 modified for racing by a firm called TS Racing, and it has a whopping 1074 HP (790 kW) and 1158 Nm (853 lb-ft) of torque!
Only God and a couple of his close companions know how in the world this little hatchback puts that massive power down to the ground, but it does. Actually, the more pressing question is how the hell did they manage to extract 1074 hp out of a 2.5 liter engine?

730-hp Corvette ZR1 by GeigerCars
Bavarian tuner GeigerCars has come up with a performance package for the king of American sports cars, the Corvette ZR1. Built to conquer the 2012 Tuner Grand Prix, this is a race car for the streets with a colossal 730 horsepower.
That is about a 100 horsepower more than the standard ZR1, brought on by modified cylinder heads, camshafts, pistons, as well as optimized air intake system, exhaust, and intercooers. The result is 730 horsepower and 950 nm of torque.
Geiger’s ZR1 can reach a top speed of 355 km/h, so the changes they have made to the car’s aerodynamic and suspension system to cope with it are most welcome. They also give you a pair of Recaro race seats, but the coolest things they’ve added to this car are those skull graphics on the bonnet and also on the back.
The performance of this ZR1 is certainly very tempting, but the price tag might put you off. It costs 234,788 euros.

BMW M6 F13 by Risden Engineering
BMW M6 tends to be more of a super GT than a sports car, but it is an M car after all, and has the potential to become a serious track car. Risden Engineering sees this potential and is working on a program that turns the M6 into what they refer to as a ‘streetable track car’.
The idea is that the car remains properly docile for street use, and when you take it to the race track all that racing components added to it will result in greater performance. And there is quite a bit of racing bits and bobs fitted to this car.
The Risden R6 package includes a fixed wing and a retractable wing, and also built in cooling features and new vent openings for the brakes and engine. The M6 has also been on a diet and has lost a couple of stones. A fully adjustable suspension, 4 point roll bar, and a new brake system have also been added, but there is no plan for any performance upgrade. That is fine, of course, as the standard car comes with 560 horsepower.

SSP’s Vossen Wheel-fitted Nissan GT-R is a really mean machine
The Nissan GT-R is one of the most notable supercars to have ever come out of Japan. Even though the vehicle comes with a more than admirable twin-turbo 3.8L V6 engine with various states of tune allowing it to output anything between 480 hp and 545 hp (depending on the generation of the vehicle), the model sadly cannot even be slotted in the same league as the Lambos and the Ferraris.
The reason behind this lack of status is quite simple too- the Nissan GT-R just doesn’t come with the kind of flamboyant bits and cabin luxuries that set performance-based “luxury” supercars apart from the regular old fast and furious kinds. However, Texas-based automobile tuner and maintenance experts South Side Performance has really done an outstanding job at taking the profile of the otherwise modest supercar up a few notches.
The South Side Performance Nissan GT-R comes with new exterior fittings like a custom exhaust, a brand new diffuser and a swanky new splitter. The vehicle has also been given a new boot and a roll cage while the new racing softens the otherwise sparse interior landscape of the Japanese supercar. But what really sets the SSP Nissan GT-R apart from the competition is the new 20-inch custom-created VVS-CV7 Vossen wheels. The wheels are finished in a svelte matte graphite which contrasts with the glossy red finish of the vehicle and makes the beast look really, really mean on the streets.

2013 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 Race Car
Nissan Motorsports aka Nismo has released the official Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 that meets all FIA GT3 regulations and will be eligible to race. While this is the all new 2013 model, the 2012 model has already been victorious around the world. It has participated in the SUPER GT series, Super Taikyu, British GT Championship and the GT Cup after been entered by NDDP RACING.
By recording all the data from these races, Nismo engineers have been able to study the numbers to make this 2013 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 one of the best sports car to date.Several aspects of the car have been improved, including the engine performance, aerodynamics, braking ability and suspension setup. Under the hood is new camshaft timing, while the exterior modifications consist of canards added to the front, larger fender louvers and adjustments to the rear wing to optimize the airflow.
After this tuning, the Nissan GTR GT3 is more balanced and has increased downforce to improve the overall driveability. This specific 2013 model will be manufactured on customer demand and Nismo has announced an update kit for the 2012 cars. Pricing for this Nismo tuned Nissan GT-R GT3 supercar is an expensive $436,000 or about 270,000 euros, however we are now seeing what can be accomplished with the godzilla.
Scion Unveils 600-HP, Turbocharged FR-S Drift Car in Detroit
The 2013 Scion FR-S is supposed to provide an experience like that of the 1980s rear-drive Toyota Corolla, which just so happens to be popular among drifters. (Those fond of oversteer, not vagabonds.)
Scion is apparently hoping the FR-S will be subject to the same fondness, so it helped the cause along by creating the drift-ready version that was shown at the 2012 Detroit auto show. The FR-S’s 2.0-liter boxer-four has been turbocharged to produce 600 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque—increases of 400 hp and 349 lb-ft over stock. That ought to do it, but just to be safe Scion also gutted the car, lightening it by roughly 300 pounds for drift duty.
Why are such insane power numbers necessary? Because getting sideways and staying there requires tire-frying horsepower. Scion Racing partnered with Greddy to create the FR-S specifically for Formula Drift competition, where it will replace the Scion tC as drifter Ken Gushi’s ride of choice.
This car’s existence will certainly reignite speculation of factory-turbocharged versions of the FR-S and its Subaru BRZ twin. While it does prove that a turbo will fit under the hood—and probably a big one at that—this one-off nutso setup is far from production-feasible. Still, we’re relatively confident that one or both of the Subayota cars will eventually offer a turbocharged version for consumers. With a more modest power bump, of course.
Toyota FT-86
TMC seeks to develop the ultimate earth-conscious environmentally-considerate vehicle with a focus on hybrid technologies without losing sight of the appeal of cars themselves or the joy of driving.
Over the past several years, the need has been rising for motor vehicles that take into consideration global warming and other environmental issues, while there has also been concern that there have been too few new sports cars that make the heart beat faster and that the time is right for a new generation of sports cars. In response to these needs, TMC has developed the FT-86 Concept, a sports car equipped with a 2,000cc, horizontally opposed, four-cylinder, naturally-aspirated gasoline engine that evokes the joy of driving a car and the pleasure of vehicle ownership.
As the name “Future Toyota 86 Concept” implies, the FT-86 Concept, which will be exhibited at the Tokyo Motor Show, is a new 86 Toyota with a flash red finish. It is a compact, rear-wheel drive sports concept car that embodies speed and the excitement of driving that give cars their appeal as well as environmental performance.
A Toyota Sports Car for a New Era when the Driver Plays the Main Role
The FT-86 Concept is 4,160mm long, 1,760mm wide, and 1,260mm high with a wheelbase of 2,570mm, giving it a compact feeling that is easy for the driver to handle while able to accommodate four occupants. In addition to being light and having a low center of gravity, the FT-86 Concept boasts the handling of a racing car as well as a 6-speed manual transmission and ADVICS brakes.
The stylish concept captures the heart with the “functional utility” of its highly-refined body. It is the creation of Toyota Europe Design Development known as ED2, which has established body lines that take into consideration a low center of gravity and aerodynamics. The interior is distinctive, featuring an instrument panel with a gray and white base, gauges with red neon lights and digital displays, and a navigation system. In addition, a zipper that evokes an image of interior lapping with minimal covering of a highly-refined body presents a striking display.
It is necessary to create a vehicle in which the driver plays the main role in order to have as many people as possible experience the joy of driving.
The FT-86 Concept is neither an electric vehicle nor a hybrid vehicle, but is a sports model with a gasoline engine developed to convey the essential appeal of automobiles in a new era. It is a must-see concept car that expresses TMC’s desire to once again create a Toyota sports car.
