Pagani Huayra set to reach America by mid-2013
The Pagani Huayra has been something of a regular at the prestigious American auto event, the Concours d’Elegance held at Pebble Beach. The model hasn’t yet arrived in American showrooms since the model isn’t still deemed street legal in the US as it hasn’t been successful in obtaining regulatory certificated from CARB and the EPA.
However, Pagani fans in the western hemisphere may finally be able to get their hands on one of very first Huayra to hit the continent sometime over the summer of 2013. Named after a South American deity, Pagani's new supercar will come fitted with the air bags it did not have it its two Pebble Beach showings.The Pagani Huayra has been designed with a special set of aerodynamics that have been created to mimic the pattern of wind flow. Inspired by the silhouettes and structures of fighter jets, the new supercar is built with some of the most advanced materials known to the automotive industry.
The new Pagani supercar is powered by a twin-turbo V12 engine sourced from AMG which is tuned to deliver 811 pounds per feet of torque and a resounding 700 ponies.The US-spec supercar would be priced at around $1.4 million and is expected to be offered in a super limited run. Buyers can secure their own copy of the fabulous new Pagani supercar through the San Francisco-based British Motor Cars and Beverly Hills, LA-based Auto Gallery that are the first official US dealerships for Pagani.
