Camaro
The new Irmscher i42 Camaro was a hit at the Essen Motor Show, and now the tuning company plans to start producing a limited run of these cars. Based on the Chevrolet Camaro SS, it comes with a 6.2-liter V8 engine, but received a supercharger and custom exhaust for extra power.
The tuners were able to boost the horsepower number to 509, and the track figures don’t lie. It is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds, and top out at 275 km/h, which is much more powerful than the factory Camaro SS. This Chevy Camaro i42 needed a high performance brake kit from Irmscher, so they installed 380 mm discs with 6-piston calipers at the front, and 355 mm discs with 4-piston calipers at the rear.
An adjustable sport suspension kit improved the handling, while a new set of 22-inch alloys finished in black and silver were installed on all fours. The Irmscher i42 Chevrolet Camaro also attained a set of black racing stripes covering the hood, roof, and trunk for an additional sports car appeal. Pricing for the Camaro package from Irmscher starts at 49,000 Euro, however depending on the customizations the price may rise.
