Subaru BRZ STI
Subaru had this tease on display at the 2011 LA Auto Show called the Subaru BRZ STI Concept. Although it is not in production, this is one of the first Subaru sports cars we have seen that is not all-wheel-drive nor turbocharged. While it still holds the famous Subaru four-cylinder boxer engine, this is one of the first live appearances of what the Subaru BRZ STI will look like.
At the exterior is a large wing that jumps out and is somewhat typical Subaru styling. Since the BRZ won’t be as fast as the original STI because of the lacking turbocharger and AWD, it will make up for this by cutting weight. Performance parts such as Bembo brakes all around are still present, while we look forward to possibly having a carbon fiber roof being an option for some customers.
