Finally, a vehicle has been manufactured to be driven on land and water too, it’s BMW’s GIBBS Quadski amphibian car, the world’s first high-speed sport amphibian car that has a 1.3 liter BMW engine that’s powered by four cylinders, and it pushes out 175 horsepower, also it features a speed of 72km per hour on land and water too!
This unique amphibian car was manufactured by a Detroit-based team, who supported this car with Gibbs’ “High Speed Amphibian” HAS – technology that includes about more than 300 patents.
Quadski can transform itself from a land car to a watercraft during only five minutes, and it has a proprietary marine jet propulsion system along with a fantastic wheel retraction.
